Samantha Ferguson

Lebanon, VA – Samantha Jo Ferguson, age 31, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 10, 2022. Born September 2, 1991. She was a Castlewood High School graduate, Class of 2010, and she was a pharmacy tech at Blue Devil Pharmacy. She also enjoyed making crafts and spending time with family and friends.  Sam was known for her sweet smile and laugh. She was loved by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father: Kenney “Fish” Ferguson; grandparents: Kenneth Banner Ferguson, Johnny and Ida Bumgarner.

Survivors include her mother: Jennifer Gail Ferguson; grandmother: Virginia Swain Ferguson; aunt and uncle: Cherie and Bill Akers; special “niece”: Maylee Michelle Akers; dear cousins: Nathaniel Akers and wife Makenzie, Bethany Akers; special friend who was like a sister: Courtney Brooke Clifton and friend Daniel Adams.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Lebanon Community Fellowship with Rev. Justin Honaker, Pastor Ethan Addington and Pastor Greg Crabtree. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Akers, Nathaniel Akers, Daniel Adams, Chris Kiser, Justin Hayes, Chastin Smith and Brian Tuggle.
