Peggy Teague Bolling

Abingdon VA - Peggy Teague Bolling, age 91, went to be with the Lord Saturday February 4, 2023 at Abingdon Health & Rehab. She was the daughter of the late Marvin & Eura Teague.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Bolling, grandchildren: David Owens and Mabrey Bush, brother: Joseph Teague and son-n-law Randy Richardson.

Leaving behind are her five beloved children: Debra Bush (Ronnie), Susan Bolling, Cherie Henderson (Dave) Kay Poole (Randy), Kenny Bolling (Sharon). Grandchildren: Jaime, Matt, Traci, Adam, Nick, Emilie, Lily, Sam, Judah, Charlotte. Great- grandchildren: Gwen, Chloe, Sydney, Joslyn, Brody, Axl, Auldin, Owen, Ava Claire, Addison, Tucker, Wyatt, Jaci, Ashlyn. Sisters Nancy (Jack) Washburn, Bobbi Teague. Sister-n-laws Nancy Jones, Mary Jane Teague and a host of Nieces and Nephews that loved her dearly.

Peggy served God as a devoted member of Green Valley Baptist Church for more than 70 years.  Her love of cooking was evident at home and in the community at large. Her sweet voice is well remembered from her years at C&P Telephone Co and Russell County Medical Center.

A special thank you to Abingdon Health & Rehab for the abundant love, care, and support while Mom was under their watchful eye. 

Funeral services for Peggy Bolling will be 12:00pm Tuesday February 7, 2023 at Green Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Kenny Bolling and Rev. Darrell Fletcher officiating Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens Abingdon VA The family will receive friends from 11:00 until 12:00pm prior to the funeral service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Henderson, Adam Poole, Nick Bush, Aaron Lane, Derek and Cody Sowell.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Green Valley Baptist Church 695 Green Valley Rd, Lebanon, VA 24266 in memory of Peggy Bolling or your local food pantry.
