Peggie Etta Jessee Campbell

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her: husband of forty-five years: Jack Campbell; brothers: Don, Bobby, Gene, and Glenn Jessee.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter: Donna Campbell Ray and husband Steve; grandsons: Keith Ray and wife Amanda, Seth Ray and wife Kandi, Jess Ray and wife Janel; great-grandsons: Austin Moore, Kolby Ray, Jack Ray, Charlie Ray; great-granddaughter: Ellie Ray; sister: Joyce Johnson; brother: Roger Jessee; special cousin: Carol “Sissy” Douglas; along with several extended family, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Cedar Pointe Baptist Church with Pastor James Nunley officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 9, 2021 at Temple Hill Memorial Park. Those wishing to attend should meet at the funeral home by 10:15 a.m.  to go in procession to the cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kyle Pruitt, Brett Whitt, Scott Gilmer, Zack Bartee, Eric Hurd, Ernie Burton and Seth Sutherland.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Douglas, Carol Musick, Larry Hartsock, Steve Osborne, Zip Couch and Bill Wallace.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cedar Pointe Baptist Church Building Fund 111 South Angle Ave, P.O.Box 3127 Lebanon, VA 24266.
