Neva Jay Kiser

Nora, VA –Neva Jay Kiser, age 87, went to be with the Lord on December 10, 2022. Born November 16, 1935. She was the daughter of the late David and Ava Grizzle. She loved to attend church as long as her health permitted and to spend time with her family. She was a member of Union Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Kiser; two grandsons; sister: Barbara Trent, brother: Cecil Grizzle; and son-in-law: Glenn Hammaker.

She is survived by her daughters: Darlene Hammaker, Rhonda McCowan, Sandy Lee and husband Danny; son: David Kiser; brothers: Rufus D. Grizzle and wife Carol, Larry Grizzle and wife Katherine; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2022 in the Combs-Hess Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Estol Amburgey and Rev. Dwaine Rasnick officiating. Burial will follow the service at Kiser Family Cemetery, Trammel, VA.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons.
