Mabel Graham Robinson Thomas

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: George P. Thomas, Sr.; grandson: Jeffery Scott Warner; and all of her siblings: Vergie, Newlin, Beulah, Audrey, Merlie and Jimmy.

Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Cheryl T. Moss, George P. Thomas, Jr. “Spunky” and Pamela T. Atwell; grandchildren: Gregory Alan Warner (Daphne), Ronald D. Moss, Jr. (Sandy), Christa Atwell, Donald T. Atwell (Caprice), Ali Jordan and Jessee Lawson; and eight great-grandchildren: Thomas, Davis, Georgia, Abram, Elijah, Luke, Chelsea and Brittany; along with seven great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 3, 2022 in the Combs-Hess Funeral Service Chapel with Randy Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in West Hill Cemetery. The funeral service will be livestreamed on our Combs-Hess Facebook Page at 2:00 p.m.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Greg Warner, Ronald Moss, Elijah Warner, Donald Atwell, Abram Morton and John Paul “Buzzy” Jenks.  

The family would like to thank the employees of Divine Health Care, the doctors and nurses of the PCU unit at Johnston Memorial Hospital, Bea Lester and Katie Ingle for all the love and care they gave our mother.
