Linda Joyce Osborne

  Castlewood, VA- Linda Joyce Osborne, age 78, went to be with the Lord at her home Thursday, February 29, 2024. Born November 27, 1945, the daughter of the late Willard B. and Cleo Jessee Fields. Linda loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. 

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Nina Fields Ring and husband Charlie, Dorothy Fields Jessee and husband Gene; nephews: Junior Ring, and Tony Ring.

 She is survived by her husband: Wayne H. Osborne; sons: David Osborne and wife Pamela, Mike Osborne and wife Monica, and Randy Osborne; sister: Janice Fields Horne and husband Bobby; grandchildren: Meghan Greene and husband Stephen, Ashley Brummette and husband Brandon, Brittany Hicks and husband Tyler, Blake Osborne, and Logan Osborne; great grandchildren: Hudson Greene, Memphis Greene, and Jackson Brummette. Very special nieces and nephews: Susan Jessee Meade, Tracy Horne Garrett, Stacy Horne Wood, Nina Lee Ring Light, and Greg Jessee.

 Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, March 3, 2024, in Grassy Creek Church Cemetery with the Rev. Doug Trent officiating. The family request that everyone meet at the cemetery by 1:45 pm for the service. 

 Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
