Kasie Danyel Tilley (Pugh)

Kasie Danyel Tilley (Pugh) departed this world peacefully on February 26, 2024, at the age of 49. Born on October 22, 1974, in Pineville, West Virginia, Kasie’s journey was defined by her extraordinary sense of humor, boundless creativity, and the enduring love she generously shared with all fortunate enough to know her.

     Kasie’s roles as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother were just a fraction of her life. Beyond her familial ties, she was remarkably talented, creative, and artistic. Kasie faced life’s challenges with unwavering strength, resilience, and a heart full of kindness. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony (Tony) Pugh.

     She leaves behind a grieving family, including her loving parents, Darlene (Hamilton) Tilley and Robert Tilley; her daughter, Morgan Rineer; her son, William Tucker; and her cherished grandchildren, Weston Whited, and Natalie Rineer. 

     Additionally, she is survived by her dearly loved siblings: Ben Tilley, Kevin Tilley and his wife Sarah, and Brandi and her husband Keith, as well as many nieces and nephews.

     Kasie’s legacy is woven with threads of love, compassion, and a humorous spirit that touched everyone she encountered. Her absence will be keenly felt by family and friends alike. May she find eternal peace, reunited with the souls of friends and family who journeyed before her.

     Celebration of Life will be conducted 2 pm Friday, March 1, 2024 in the Combs-Hess Funeral Service chapel with Pastor Rod Wicker and Rev. Jeff Kinder officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1 pm until time of the service. The service will be available on the funeral home Facebook page at time of service.   

     In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a cause that held a special place in Kasie’s heart. Your contributions will pay tribute to her memory and perpetuate the legacy of kindness and compassion she embodied throughout her life.
