Judy Kay Bowman

Judy Kay Bowman, age 68, went to be with the Lord Tuesday November 26, 2024. Born August 7, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Hoover Bowman and Margaret Wishon Bowman.

 She was born in Johnson City, Tn. but lived most of her life in the Corn Valley section of Russell County. She enjoyed listening to country music and babysitting her grandchildren. 

 In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Preas Bowman; sisters, Debbie Blackwell, Patsy Gortney, Sue Bowman and Kathy Bowman; brothers, Joe Bowman and Jackie Bowman.

 Judy is survived by her son, William Bowman and wife Kim of Honaker; sisters, Linda Bowman of Johnson City, Tn.; brothers, Terry Bowman and wife Joy of Johnson City, Tn, Larry Bowman and wife Lisa of Johnson City, Tn and Hoover Bowman and wife Ginger of Johnson City, Tn.; grandchildren, Derek Preas Bowman and wife Kimmie of Lebanon and Sarah Nicole Bowman of Honaker; great-grandchild, Kendrick Bowman of Lebanon; nephews, Kenneth Harless and wife Tiffany of Johnson City, Tn.; brother-in-law, Raymond Gortney. 

 Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday December 3, 2024, in Mountain Home National Cemetery 53 Memorial Ave. Mountain Home Tn 37684. Everyone is requested to meet at the cemetery by 1:50pm.
