Ince Faye White

Lebanon, VA – Ince Faye Castle Sutherland White, age 83, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 8, 2021. Born October 2, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Lottie Strong. She loved sitting on her porch with her family and playing bluegrass music and flatfooting. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Franklin White; son: Benny Sutherland; and daughter: Birdie Keener.

She is survived by her two daughters: Debra Lawson of Lebanon and Joyce Lawrence and husband Joe of Lebanon; two sons: Freddie Sutherland and wife Betty of Lebanon and Darrell Sutherland of Duffield; sister: Judy Sutherland of West Virginia; brother: Roby Castle and wife Virginia of West Virginia; fourteen grandchildren; forty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews; a special friend: Cora Johnson of Lebanon.

Graveside services for Ince Faye White will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Temple Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Virginia Castle officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Combs-Hess Funeral Service Chapel and will go in procession to Temple Hill.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mac Easterly, John Sutherland, Benny Sutherland, Zack Holland, Darrell Lampkins, and Fred Sutherland.
