Geraldine Frances Tuggle

Lebanon, VA - Geraldine Frances Tuggle, age 86, went Home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 31, 2022, in her home surrounded by family.  Born on July 29, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Hiram and Nanny Boardwine. Geraldine devoted her life to being a wonderful wife and mother.  She filled her home with warmth and kindness.  Everyone she knew will greatly cherish her impact on their lives through love and friendship.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Dallas Ray Tuggle; son: Billy Tuggle; brothers: Roy, Abram and Eugene; and sister: Ruby.

Geraldine is survived by her children: Larry Tuggle, Barbara Ashby and husband Dane, and Sheila Gilstrap and husband Michael.  She is also survived by her sister: Audrey; brother: Coy; six grandchildren: Kim, Brian, Shane, Christy, Misty and Natasha; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2022 in the Combs-Hess Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Michael Gilstrap officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Burial will follow the service in Ketron Memorial Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Shane Ashby, Austin Mitchell, Wesley Graham, William Plott, Anthony Martinez and Roy Sauls. 

Honorary pallbearers are James Duty and Robert Helton.
