Cynthia Ellen Boggs
Lebanon, VA – Cynthia Ellen Robinson Boggs, age 89, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Born March 4, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Flara Robinson. She loved to spend time with family, enjoyed gardening and canning. She attended Ferbie Chapel in Pound, VA and Oak Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings and first-born daughter.
She is survived by her husband: Denver Denton Boggs; daughter: Brenda Boggs Thomas; sons: Denver Curtis Boggs, Jack Boggs, Gregory Lee Boggs, Larry Wayne Boggs, Christopher Hobert Boggs, her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren and her great great-grandchildren.
A public visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023 in the Combs-Hess Funeral Service Chapel. A private committal service will be held with Rev. Scotty Perkins officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be her sons and grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
