Claude Kimper Dotson

He was preceded in death by his parents: Willard and Sadie Smith Dotson; sisters: Peggy Musick, Betty Musick and Ellen Holiday; and brother: Will Dotson.

Survivors include his wife of fifty years: Linda Combs Dotson; two sons: Garrick Dotson and Brian Dotson of Abingdon; sisters: Nancy Smith of Abingdon and Lillie Booker of Cleveland; brother: Joe Dotson of Lebanon.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022 in Ketron Memorial Gardens with Rev. Leo Rhymer and Pastor Jason Nunley officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. in the Combs-Hess Funeral Service Chapel prior to the service and we will go in procession to the cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Randall Combs, Willie Combs, Daniel Hoss, Carl Smith, Cameron Smith, Chad Smith and Mark White.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Sailor,  Donald Denton and all the guys from Wellmont Bristol Plant Ops.
